Pumped transcritical CO2 chiller and extension of 17 storage chambers

Design and construction of a 500 kW chiller and CO2 distribution network. Precise maintenance of a low temperature with a high level of humidity for ideal storage conditions in controlled-atmosphere chambers.

Thanks to the use of pumped liquid CO2, the cooling system for 17 controlled-atmosphere fruit chambers achieves a low approach temperature, ensuring better preservation and maintaining a high level of humidity.
